Recall East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton – Town Hall Meeting

3/5/2015 – East Cleveland Ohio residents plan on meeting and signing a recall petition to fire Mayor Gary Norton at the Town Hall Meeting being held at East Cleveland Ohio Public Library, Thursday March 5, 2015, 5:00 PM.

Residents are upset at the city having no rock salt or pothole patching material and for Mayor Norton wanting to merge their city with Cleveland.

The recall movement was started by the late Bernice Ewing who organized all of the details before her death.  Ewing had one last wish and that was for the city not to merge with Cleveland and for residents to rise up and take back their government with a recall of Mayor Gary Norton Jr.

In honor of Bernice Ewing resident are taking street to gather up the one thousand signatures needed to hold a recall election in East Cleveland.  Ms. Ewing was laid to rest Saturday February 28, 2015 and citizens organized a website and each other and will meet to finish the plans for the recall of Norton.

Some residents have been told not to attend the meeting because their cars will be ticketed and there may be some trouble makers sent in to disrupt the meeting.   Even with the threats of intimidation upon them residents are moving forward to end the worst mayor in the history of East Cleveland Ohio Gary Norton with a definitive recall.   Norton does have the chance to resign rather than face being fired.
